Does Your Carpet Cleaning Eliminate Pet Odors?
If you are calling us because your pet has left an unbecoming odor in your home, it will help to mention this when scheduling your appointment so that our specialists can come properly equipped! Pet odor will usually be eliminated by simply deodorizing the carpets prior and after they are cleaned however, sometimes it can actually be your ventilation system or even the walls that are retaining the odor.  We recommended opening the windows for about an hour during the cleaning process to so that new fresh air can circulate through your home.

How Long Will It Take To Clean The Carpets In My Home?
At Bayside Carpet Cleaning we understand that life can be hectic therefore we perform our service as fast as possible. There are several factors when considering how long it will take for us to clean your home,  the size of the space and condition of the carpet being the two main primary factors. Just as an example; A standard cleaning of up to 5 areas in the home takes about 90 minutes from the time we arrive.  If you have time constraints you may want to consider breaking up treatments, or even have us come at another time.  We can even perform our services while you are not at your home.

Does Bayside Carpet Cleaning Vacuum The Carpet?
When you hire Bayside  to clean your home, we don’t skip any steps! We vacuum the carpets before getting to the heavy duty cleaning.  As part of the cleaning process we use a carpet rake to really agitate anything embedded in the carpet, and then we vacuum again.

Do You Use Chemicals?
Our foremost concern is keeping you and your family safe. If you have allergies or are sensitive to certain chemicals we do offer soap free cleaning products. Procyon is commonly used in hospitals and is soap free, biodegradable and hypoallergenic. Please ask for more information when scheduling your appointment.

Will You Move My Furniture?
When we are in your home cleaning your floors, we do have the ability to move basic furniture such as sofas, tables, chairs and love seats.  We do NOT move larger items or high valued pieces like beds, hutches and china cabinets.

Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, we absolutely guarantee our work with a 100% money-back promise. If you’re not happy with our service, we’ll come back to your place for free to fix it. If you’re still not satisfied after that, we’ll give you all your money back, no questions asked.

What process do you use to clean carpet?
Bayside Carpet Cleaning uses a truck mounted hot water extraction system for deep cleaning. It is recommended by most carpet manufacturers like Mohawk and Shaw. This method sprays hot water into carpets at high pressure, loosening dirt, then vacuums it up, making carpets clean and quick to dry. It’s great for removing deep dirt and allergens, and because it uses eco-friendly solutions, it’s safe for homes and businesses. This system is known for its strong suction and quick drying, helping carpets stay cleaner longer and ensuring a healthier environment.

How can I keep my carpet clean between professional cleanings?

  • Vacuum often. Dirt and oils can make carpets look dull.
  • Wear socks around the house. Our feet carry dirt, oil, and skin flakes, which can darken the carpet. Vacuuming alone might not get all of this out.
  • Tackle small stains with our free spot cleaner. This can help manage spills and spots between our visits.
  • Focus on busy areas. You don’t need to clean every room each time we visit. Sometimes, just the areas with the most foot traffic need care.
